Bora Muzhaqi in Vlora: We successfully completed the second year of the School Sports Teams Program

Bora Muzhaqi, Minister of State for Youth and Children participated in the closing event of the School Sports Teams Program, held in Vlora as the European City of Sports for this year.

In her welcoming speech, Minister Bora Muzhaqi expressed that she is particularly happy with the maximum commitment of students in the School Sports Teams Program, which affects both their physical and mental well-being.

Through the School Sports Teams Program, Minister Bora Muzhaqi says that Prime Minister Rama’s vision for the massification of sports has been realized.

“Prime Minister Rama’s vision for the massification of sports is now a reality for the second year in a row through the “School Sports Teams Program”, adding that “over 10,000 students throughout Albania have trained 3 times a week, with equipment and free uniforms the latter provided by the government.”

Part of the activity were also Deputy. Minister of Sport Endrit Hoxha, Deputy. The Minister of Tourism Vilma Bello, the Mayor of Vlora Ermal Dredha and the President of KOKSH Fidel Ylli who greeted the children and young people.

To ensure the success of the program, it has also been invested in sports infrastructure to enable safety and quality of sports development as students discover their talents.

Thousands of students from all over Albania were part of the closing event, where they paraded on the city promenade with the uniforms of the respective districts and banners in their hands, representing their city.
